I will make this as short as I can, my husband had cancer in 1996, we took out a large loan in 2004 to help pay for med. Expenses not covered by insc. In 2005 he passed away. I used my credit cards to pay rest of medical bills, funeral expenses etc... I am trying to sell our property to get out of debt but in the mean time I am working with debt collectors and making payments monthly in march our 13 year old had to have emergency surgery and this month she had to have dential work done. I believe that people need to put there children's health first, I talked to one of my debt collectors a couple of weeks age and explained I may not be able to pay the full amount this month that I have been paying she said it was already set up, I explained that my daughter had to have some work done on her teeth and she also had to go back next month an have more done. She did not care to here about the problem. At this point I am living on 1 income with the loss of my husband not 2 , I am paying out about 87 persent of my income monthy. All my other collectors worked with me on this . Should I try to call back and explain my problem again to her ,I mean I can pay some at least half this month of my payment that I normally make or how can I approach this.

If you have been on a good payment plan and keep up with your end of the barrgen then you should try to speak with a supervicer. Sometimes they are more forgiven in this. I understand your hard times keep your head up what ever happens will happens because it was supposed to anyway
