I am currently married and going through a divorce. I signed the birth certificate for my twins and now she is saying they might not be mine. Will I still be obligated to pay child support for them. I live ain Texas but I am paying child support through Ohio since that's where she lives.

In my state if you sign the birth certificate you are responsible. You could probably go after her for fraud but they may say that you should have ordered a paternity test.

This is one of the reasons I am for hospitals mandatory testing BEFORE the birth certificate is signed.

Where were the children born?

In most states, the husband is the legal father until paternity is proven otherwise. This would require the biological father to be found and paternity to be established with him.

Ohio allows for disestablishment of paternity, so if you are, in fact not the father, child support should be terminated.

I would contact a lawyer in Ohio to find out how to go about this.
