When we turn on either the hot or cold water to the kitchen sink, there is a loud, high pitch whining sound that will not go away regardless of how fast we have the water running. The name of the faucet is Glacier Bay. There are individual controls for hot and cold water and the faucet spout is tall and curved; there is also a sink spray hose. I have not attempted to do anything to the faucet to stop the noise. What are some of the causes for noise in a faucet and what can I do myself to fix it?
