I remember a few scenes from a film I saw as a young child. So it can't be any older than 1980.
I remember Little Bo Peep putting her children to bed in bunks in a fairytale style house. And later a wood with signs warning of danger every so often on the path.
It was not an animation it featured human actors and was seen in Britain on television around Christmas time I think. It was English language either British or American I think.
Anyone clever movie buffs got any ideas?

Embarrassingly I have discovered the answer myself. It was suggested as the answer to another thread. It wasn't the answer for them but it is the answer to mine.
