I have a 1999 Murray, 46" cut, riding mower, model number 46577x71a. I bought it used and didn't get a manual with it, so when I threw the belt on the deck off I don't have a diagram to put it back on. This belt is the long one, of two belts that turn the blades. Any help would be appreciated. So far I haven't been able to find a site with the information I am needing.

Check Free lawn and garden product owners manuals, user guides & how-to instructions | ManualsOnline (http://lawnandgarden.manualsonline.com/) and go through the menus to see if they have it; the number after the "x" does not have to be the same as it is a vendor number.

Hi, Lea here. Go to Lowe's & they can print out you a diagram and will know what belt to get you & also the belt sizes should be on the top engraved in metal easily seen.

Is it just 1 belt that goes on this mower? I have tried to put my new belt on but I baought a 40" which was the size of the old belt.
