Communication between myself & prospective love interest isn't spectacular, in fact it is difficult & there's always something that seems to impede our linking up. Accidental "blooper" moments seem inherent to me especially in terms of both sending and picking up signals, as well as being able to act on them. This has lead to even greater confusion.

Also, there is greater familiarity with me than I have of this person. Trust between us seems to wax and wane. There is interest on both sides, and would likely be even more on mine if I truly knew other person.

Is there hope for situations like ours, or is this just destiny keeping us deliberately apart?

Er, could you provide a bit more detail such as your ages and the length of time you've known each other? Why does trust wax and wane?

I sort of got stuck on the 'blooper moments' and would appreciate some examples.

Age isn't the issue here. It's more so I think communication. Bloopers involve sticking my foot in mouth or timing of things.

Trust seems to ebb and flow, likely from lack of communication & insecurity issues.

Perhaps in part I just answered some of my question...

Age isn't the issue

Your ages, and some additional info would help with the advice you get.
