I am 20 and currently 38 weeks pregnant with my second child I am just looking for some advice and support on healthy ways to get my weight down I am currently weighing 135kg and I am 5'7" which gives me an awful bmi of 46.1 I want to get healthy. I can't got to any weight loss groups as I am hoping to breastfeed this child as I did my first I have already started eating healthy and have lost a pound since my booking appointment at 8weeks its not much but seeming as I'm heavily pregnant I feel this is a huge achievement. I just need some advice on gentle exercise I can do with a very active 2year old and a newborn I won't have much time on my hands so swimming and going to the gym just aren't possible atm. Hope someone will be able to help as I'm hoping to loose at a minimum 50kgs to get out of the obesity range.
Just wondering if anybody has any advice I don't want a fad diet I want a lifestyle change I want to be able to run around after my kids.

You are pregnant
You need to wait until the baby is born.
Breast feeding helped me lose at least 30 lbs after my first baby. BUT you can't diet then either.
For now the best thing is watch what you eat.
Avoid diet foods and drinks, artificial sweeteners, processed foods and junk foods.

Oh, there are so many things. Having a baby is having a gym. My favorite thing to recommend is working out with your baby!
There is also baby yoga, which makes you more flexible, stronger, and healthier. Losing weight WHILE pregnant should be the least of your worries. The baby growing inside you is #1.
Please follow the link for tons of exercises to do with your baby. exercise with your baby - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=exercise+with+your+baby&aq=f&oq=&aqi=)
P.S. I never bought a work-out video...I use the Youtube ones!!

UMMMMM... ANY doctor that tells a pregnant woman NOT to put on weight sounds like a quack to me.

Weight Watchers has a good eating plan for breastfeeding mothers. Breastfeeding requires a decent amount of caloric intake as it actually burns calories. Eating healthy, watching your portion sizes, getting daily exercise, and having good support around you, can do wonders.

Regarding weight gain... in the last few weeks you may indeed gain a bit simply because baby is adding healthy fat. This weight is going onto baby however, not necessarily onto you.
