View Full Version : How do I know if he is just trying to use me for sex?

Ive been through this many, many times before. So it's hard for me to start a relationship with a guy because I'm always worried that's all he wants from me. I have only been seeing this guy for a couple of weeks, and he seems really sweet, we have hung out almost every day since we met, and he will spontaniously say things like, wow your pretty, and I'm so glad I met you! and I really like you. When we are alone, he does want to mess around and will take it as far as he can, but as soon as I say no he will stop and not try again. I have had sex before, and I know I am young for it. But I also learned that for me, its not even worth it unless I know I love the guy. Id like to know what you think on this, and what I can do to not always be so worried about it, not just for this relationship, but for future referance. Give me any advance you have!

If he tries, then he wants it.
If he gives up when you say no, then he respects you more than others, but won't be satisfied.

Is he using you for sex? No, he can't be using you for something that he isn't getting. He may WANT to, but as of right now, he isn't.

My suggestion, tell him you're not even interested in sex, and if he tries to get as far as he can, then cut him off at the very beginning. Don't even let it heat up between you two. Then, he'll learn to play it slower, or you'll learn if what he really wants is sex.

Well, how old are you? Hopefully old enough to be having sex but I am not going to lecture you on that because I am sure someone else will, but he at least respects you enough to wait on you and doesn't rush you. You should respect that. I think he probably really does like you or he wouldn't be waiting around on you just to give it up.
