I have a 10 year old bryant furnace, and recently the 3 amp fuse on the control board inside the furnace continues to blow when it is hot out and the A/C is running a lot. From what I read this is the t-stat wiring fuse, indicating a short in a wire. Not sure how this could be the case, or how I determine if it is. Appreciate any help you can provide.

If you think it is in the tstat wires,, its easy enough to just replace them. You can do a guesstment on the footage and buy the wire by the foot, is fairly cheap as copper wiring goes ,make sure you tag the ends so u no where each wire came from, on both ends. You could do the entire length probably for 10 bucks or less, then you will know for sure that the wires are not the prob,

Goodluck and let us know how it works out
