Been thinking about going back in as a medical officer in the AF. I formerly served 6 years enlisted in the army and got discharged in 2005. Is this going to be do-able ?

If you are collecting disability they will say you are still disabled. Af or any service would not take you in if you are a potential liability for medical services. Is there any surgery or therapy that will bring you back to 100%?

Basically I am 100% I just had to go to rehab and wear a brace for about 4 months.

You toughing it out isn't the issue. It's whether the doctors will release you to service. Your medical records will need to be reviewed by the branch of service that you want to get back into.
Typically, a discharge is permanent.

You'll have to get reevaluated and possibly a waiver
