When my 96 honda accord sits outside overnight when it is below 40 degrees or so it won't start right away. I crank the key for a long time and it finally starts after a long time. The battery almost dies. The car runs great as soon as it starts. The battery is good and it is getting good spark. It also is getting gas. I have flooded it before during this process. I just wonder why I have to turn it over for 40 minutes before it will start. What can I fix to avoid this?

New NGK spark plugs, distributor cap, rotor, fuel filter, igniter, and coil. It might sound extreme but it really isn't for a 10 year old Accord, with probably 120,000 miles on it. Give your Honda a new lease on life and replace these important components.
