I just put new batteries in the calculator and I push the powert button and nothing? Is there anything else to check out?

Well, get a new calculator?

If you have a contrast facility on it, try increasing the contrast. That'll be somewhat difficult since it's all blank, but I don't know what you can do else.

If the old batteries were left in your calculator for too long, they may have leaked and damaged the circuits inside.

Make certain the batteries are good.

Here is a trick. Remove the batteries and short the battery terminals IN THE CALCULATOR with the batteries out for about 30 seconds. Use a piece of wire. Sometimes a key ring works.
