All right... Me and this guy have been friends for like three years, and I've liked him for two years, but now he likes me, and he knows I like him and he wants to ask me out, but I don't know how to get him to... I was thinking about asking him out.. but I don't think that'd be the right thing to do... How do I get HIM to ask ME out.. :confused:

Then I think this should be asked on the teen board - this problem at 25 is a LOT different from this problem at 14 (going on 15).

And, why can't you ask him out? Is there any specific reason? If not, you should just take the chance while you have it. There's no time like the present. Guys like girls who have confidence and initiative.

Just ask him.
What annoys me the most is when a female waits for the bloke to ask them because of 'tradition' and all that.

Ask him, that's like christmas for a guy when a girl asks him out, and christmas only comes once a year
(not sure of the once a year part had any relevance, just sounds like somthin cool to go out on)

OK, so ask him if he wants to hang out sometime. And I'm sure he will say yes. Play hard to get. Make him want you more, and eventually, you guys will become closer, and then, you won't feel so shy around him anymore. Or maybe HE will ask YOU out.

That's not very fair really...
