Many doctors prefer to help couple that are married rather than people who are dating in circumstances like this. That is a more stable environment to bring a child into the world. Yes, the couple can get divorced, however it is much harder and costly than two people who are in a reationship without that "contract."

You might consider trying to make an appointment with a fertility specialist. However, please do not be upset if they prefer not to treat you because of the marital issue.

Do you normally have 28 day cycles? Are your periods usually regular? How long do your periods last?

Have you tried using Ovulation predicter kits... the over the counter ones? You might be missing ovulation. Your periods are pretty short too, 3-4 days. Try using the ovulation kits and see if that helps. It's best to have intercourse the few days leading up to ovulation but for sure the day you ovulate is the best day. Good luck
