My last period was June 26, and I don't exactly have irregular cycles but they aren't sure regular. If I was supposed to have my period July 26, I am now 16 days late for my period. I took two pregnancy tests, a week apart (the latter being just two days ago) but they didn't make sense to me.

The first one I THINK was positive, because the instructions say that two lines means pregnant and one means not pregnant, but if one line was a little lighter than the other that still means pregnant.

On the first test it had one solid line and the other was very light and very thin. So I'm not sure what to say it came out as. The second one came out with the first solid line and the second was almost impossible to see.

Please help =(

Some times the pregnancy tests can be wrong what I would do if I were you is go to the female doctor and ask for a pregnancy test (pee test) that will help you and it's not like they will say anything to anyone about it it's always kept private.

What brands did you use? Some pregnancy tests detect higher hCG levels than others. For example 1st response detects 25mIU/hCG, and Clearblue detects 50mIU/hCG. But the generic tests only read 100mIU/hCG or higher. (mIU/hCG is the mili per unit of the hormon the placenta produces once the egg is implanted.) maybe the testb that had the faint line was a more sensitive test. But aa positive is still a positive. Wait a couple of days and test again. The hCG doubles every 24hrs.
Good luck

If you got two lines, even if one was faint, then you're pregnant.

If you don't trust the tests, want to confirm, you could always get a blood test at the doctors office. :)

I'm going to go out on a limb and say congrats. :)
