The truck won't start, it's a 2004 Chevy Colorado 3.5l 4wd. I think the starter is bad?

Help Please!! :)

Remove and fully charge/replace the battery. Most auto parts stores will test and charge batteries for free. It would be unusual for the starter motor to go on such a new truck. My bet is the battery died in the summer heat.

Anyone know anything about interlock system on this truck, just had the starter tested and its good
