Please help name this movie. Mother and daughter travel to the backwaters of a bayou the are from a city. The mother is a writer (newspaper or books) the daughter is a teenager. I think the mother is related to the swamp people she is visiting. The mother takes a boat to the nearest town. Maybe to see her Husband. While she is gone a mentally not all there boy rapes the daughter or tries too. Hope this is enough to jog someone memory.
