I live in a tropical country wit hot weather almost throiughout the year,
Recently after moving in a newly completed condo, some of the floor tiles are "bulging out". Due to the intense heat - expansion
They are not cracked , but the sides on corners are "lifted"up but still sticking together with the cement and they can't be removed.
How do I remove them without cracking and re-use them... meaning that I've to remove the hardened cement so that I could apply another layer and lay them.
Kindly assist

Can u supply a picture of floor.

Ceramic tile is usually installed with a grout space between tile.On a tile that size I use a1/4'' or 3/16'' spacer.

Believe installation was faulty or tile was warped to begin with. Not enough adhesive.

If tiles are warped will not be able to set the corners of tile flush with one another.

If u have extra tile, lay on flat surface and see if it rocks whnen pushing on corners.

Agree, ceramic tiles will not bulge. The tile must be flawed if it is curled up at the edges, are you 100% sure it is ceramic? Some vinyl tiles looks so good it appears to be ceramic. I have set some vinyl that has a grout line using a synthetic grout that makes it all appear almost ceramic.
