Ok, my friends keep telling me that this is just a dream but I know that this is a real movie. All I can remember is the movie is about 2 kids, a boy and a girl. They have to fight a queen and they keep running with some sort of crystal. It is live action, not animation and it is an 80's or very early 90's movie. Please restore my sanity and help me find this movie.

Not sure about a queen but a boy, a girl and crystal brings The Dark Crystal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083791/) to mind.
