Hi. I was adopted and I really want to know where I came from, who I looked like more and all the normal question any adopted child would want to know.
I only have adoption papers but I have no record of their name or information.
My adopted parents have tried their best to find any information about them, but we have nothing.
Is there any other way to find out information, without having any information?

When was your adoption?

Knowing how long ago you were adopted generally helps us answer, but there are a few things you can do here:

1. Contact the adoption agency used. Leave a letter with them to give to your birthparents in case they come looking.
2. Do the same thing at the courthouse in the county where you were adopted/born.
3. Register on reunion websites using all of the information that you have. Adoption.com, adoption.org, and ISSR are the ones I recommend most often.

Please remember that depending on how long ago your adoption was, your birthparents may not WANT contact with you. That's not necessarily the norm, but you need to be willing to live with it if that is the case.
