I have a Yard Machine trimmer it will start on half choke but will not idle or throttle up it stays at a some what fast idle nomatter how much throttle you give it. Thank You Jake

The description of the problem "says" air leak, but I am unable to go further as MTD has bought engines from others as well as temporarily owning Ryobi. Got some more info?
