My friend, she likes this guy named brandon. They met over Myspace. And he also likes her back. She told me about him asking her out, and she told me she said yes. I have nothing against him. But what do YOU think about online dating?

You never know who or what the person really is. She may have talked to him on the phone, but does she really know anything about him?

He could be a 50 year old pedophile for all she knows.

If she's going to meet him, I'd suggest taking someone along, just to be safe.

There are programs where they input letters on different surfaces, i.e. a hand, and it looks like a pic, when it really is just a stock photo.

Anyway, as far as the online dating, I say it's adults only. Teens, a relationship will never work, if it can even be classified as a relationship, over anything like myspace.
