Hi,

I have a 31 day cycle and have always had a regular period, never missed more than a day, I am now 7 days late and have taken 3 HPT within the last week which were all negative and today I went to the doctor and had a blood test BETA HCG which came back negative.

We have been trying for the past 1 1/2 years now and this is my first time my period is late, I have slight backaches and feel pains, not so much period pains but more like a pressure feeling on my ovaries.

What do you think I should do? :confused:[

My my cycle is around 31 days and are always regular, on the 27th June I was due my period but did not get it, I am now 8 days late, within the last week I had taken 3 HPT and yesterday a blood test and again today an ultrasound and urine sample which all came out negative, she could not detect any sac forming on the ultrasound but did inform me that my uterus lining was thick, she advised me to come back in 3 days if I did not menstruate and that she would prescribe me medication to help me get my period.

My husband and I had sex on the 9th of June and then the last time 2 days before I was due my period being 27th June, if I had conceived on the 9th surely I would see a result be now if I were pregnant, could it be possible I conceived 2 days before my period and if so would I be able to see a result by now or is it to early.

1. should I wait another 1 week and see what happens?

2. Should I go on the medication in 3 days should my period not start.
