It is very hot here and our refrigerators, freezer and air conditioner are working overtime. It is an old trailer. The fuse box and the wall around it are warm. The fuse box is in the closet and the clothes are warm as well. I saw the other post in regards to a warm fuse box but we have no smell related to the issue like she did. Thank you.

Most panels will be above room temp but you also have, lets see; a closet with probably no air circulation, full of insulating clothing , outside wall and its hot outside. Can you put a thermometer on the surface and tell us just how warm it is.

A fuse box is no longer allowed, and has not been for many years, in a closet.
No matter if it gets hot or not, the clothes should bot be up against the panel.
I realize you probably don't have any closet space to spare, not sure how to help you with that.
It will depend on the severity of heat coming from the panel as to if there is a critical reason inside the panel, or is it just because of the continuous load of the refrigeration.
Keep the panel clear for a while with the door open, no fan, and see how warm it is in a few hours.
Like Bal asked, a thermometer reading would be great.

I can't tell you how many trailers I have seen with the main fuse panel in the master BR closet on the back wall right behind the clothes.
Everyone I see scares me more than the last. Old trailers in general scare me and should scare the owners.
Call an electrician and have him look things over.
