Area of a rectangle = length times width. So for example you can make a plot that is 5 feet by 5 feet, or 4 feet by 6'3", or 2'6" by 10', etc.

Length X Width = Area.
You know area = 25, so figure out how long one side is and then the other is area / known
Or a square, 5 feet on a side.

Hi! jwcnew, and welcome to AMHD :)
how do you measure 25 square feet? In a pinch You can use Linoleum tile to visualize it.
Its made in two sizes that I know of, 8 and 12 square inches, so one should be able to tell the difference.

kDW an me were in the local wally mart today an I couldn't help but think of this post.
I looked down at their floor and it was done in 12"sq tiles... I said to DW...
You'd think they would of laid sheet instead of tiles, think of the labor involved!
That store isn't the biggest by no means, but I'd estimate it at 'round 100,000 sq' plus 10% for errors, that's a lottttttt of tiles.
And no, I didn't start counting to find out... Remember? I had the DW with me. :(
