I am trying to replace the ignition coil on my 2001 CRV.

I have read instructions saying in order to remove the rotor cap to get to the coil, there is a screw that needs to be removed. I cannot find a screw anywhere - I have turned the cap repeatedly and completely removed the distributor to get a better look at all sides of the cap. There is no screw.

Can anyone offer any insight?

Thanks!

It looks like, to me, there are three 8mm screws mounting the distributor cap to the distributor housing:

Inside, it appears there might be a location for a screw mounting the rotor to the shaft:

Most Honda rotors have a screw, some don't.
