my 1 & a half yr old male border collie x husky thinks I'm playing when I tell him off for doing something wrong, he bounces around & tries to play. Does anyone know how I can get him to see his bad behavior & no its not acceptable instead of tryign to play. (I do play with him a lot so its not like I never play with him). Thanks (:

Try giving him a time out in a room or crate that he has nothing to play with.
Don't swing your arms or make any movements that you make when you are playing
Use a different more stern tone and keep your words simple like NO!
Not ''Oh now you know that is a no-no''

In a dog pack his behavior would be met with snarls or complete disinterest. Act like he doesn't exist and do not smile at him. His attempt to play with you is a request for you to ignore his bad behavior. Give him zero feedback after the "NO." Or do like Nohelp suggested.
