I just bought a 2 cycle TroyBilt gas weedeater with a "Tap" head. Tried to use it, and could not get the line to advance, so took apart the spool, and that was my first big mistake. My wife and I followed the instructions that came with the weedeater, telling you how to load the line into the spool. This spool has two line ends that come out. Anyway, no matter how we tried, we couldn't figure out how to rewind the line into the spool. Can anyone point me to a web site that might have PICTURES showing us how to do it? Oh, we also have a fixed line spool, but I don't know how to thread that either. Help!

Hi,
Yes, try OwnerIQ: Product user manuals, help, forums tips and tutorials. (http://owneriq.net/) and pick Lawn & Garden (on left), then Troy-Bilt, then Trimmer and your model, if there. Try to approxiamate if not. All you need is acurved shaft if that is what you have; or a straight shaft for the same reason.
The heads wind in the opposite directions, though there ought to be an arrow or two on the spool saying "wind."
Peace,
Clarke
