Does anyone know if there's a way that I can install the software needed to make my Canon MP600 functional without the installation CD. Especially the scanner would be great to get running again. Are there any free installation software anywhere? And if so... Where? Please help:o

Have you tried Cannon's site for the software? Most companies keep the installation software on their sites as customers tend to lose the CD that came with the machine. I bought a scanner used with no software and successfully downloaded the installation and update info from the manufacturer's web site.
