Have outside electrical receptable (metal) that was working and I plugged in a trimmer and that worked then unplugged the trimmer and went to use another outside attachment and the plug went dead. Tried to use a electrical device to verify that the plug was getting any power and no lights came on. Then went to the circuit breaker shut it of then tried to push to on position and the breaker made a breeking noise. What do I do now. Thanks

Seems like the MCB (circuit breaker) is gone

Try replacing it

tried to push to on position

What does that mean? You turned the breaker to off then turned to on?

breaker made a breeking noise.

Please describe a breeking noise.

Is this a GFI circuit, either a GFI breaker or a GFI outlet in the citrcuit?
