I am in High School and I have a question about math. It is a mathematical question TRIGONOMETRY AND BEARINGS
Henry flies his hand-glider on the bearing 256.8 for 5.8 Km. Use the diagram (for example a cross showing North, South, East and West) to find the distance to the nearest metre that it has travelled.

Did you have the required diagram?

You should also know that:

Adjacent/Hypotenuse = cos x
Opposite/Hypotenuse = sin x

Where x is the angle between the sides mentioned.
