I have a mac and the safari isn't working. Right now I'm using my iPod touch to post this problem. I try to open safari and the page won't even open. The little icon will bounce once. I opened up console and it said that safari crashed. This is what it says

Jul 21 12:49:30 aphrodite crashdump (1208): Safari crashed

What does this mean and how do I fix it? Help me please, thanks!:)

Try running a network diagnostic and see if it turns anything up. If that doesn't work then force quit all other applications and see if something was interfering. If that doesn't work then I would suggest going to apple's web site and seeing if they have any suggestions.

When you finally get safari working then I would STRONGLY suggest downloading another browser, if only to use as a backup. Opera and Firefox are both good browsers for macs.

Opera Browser | Faster & safer Internet | Free Download (http://www.opera.com/)

Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html)
