Hello everyone,

I run a small training company and our client is using a very informal method of the usual RFP/RFQ. Basically, the need to train a couple of 100 people and need a training vendor to draw up the entire training plan, curriculum, etc.

Once they receive our initial proposal, we will be called in for a presentation. Upon meeting 50% of the criteria that they have set, we will then be required to send in a Commercial Proposal and a Technical Proposal.

My questions are:

a) What exactly is a Commercial Proposal / Technical Proposal?
b) What is the difference between them?
c) Why would someone want it in 2 separate documents instead of 1?
d) Is this common?
e) Do you have any samples used for a/any service industry?

Thank you very much.

Dave

Technical Proposal and Cost Proposal are not the same.

1- Technical Proposal: Are those technics that how we can complete the work which is given to us in which methods, which machiners use to finishe the work and how.

2- Cost Proposal: Are the prize that which we are going to take the project with our benefits
