Now I know what your going to think... but I'm not pregnnat... I have had numerous periods since I started this, and its been months so I doubt I woudlnt know by now :P
Is there anything medically dangerous about eating a lot of peanut butter?
And I mean A lot!!
I get bowls, and put a lot of peanut butter in it, and microwave it to make it melt, and eat it like soup. Several times a day!!
I am just CRAVING IT SO BAD!!
Could this cause any problems...
Also, what am I missing nutritionally to make me crave this so I can go get vitamin suppliments for it :P

All I know is, that I used to do that for a stint of about three months before... never suffered any ill effects for it...
I still love to eat it like that, but not very often anymore... xD
Just a little friendly input from a fellow peanut-butter-aholic.

2 tablespoons of peanut butter equals 190 calories and 16 grams of fat, so too much, not a good idea.

Lol have you noticed how it MUST be a brand name peanut butter like jiffy or skippy or peater pan?
I tried the store brand, and it was all oily and lumpy after melting! EEW> totally made my craving go away lol

Actually... yes.
Well, I usually just got whatever was on sale... as I was going broke for peanut butter for a while there...
But, there is one SPECIFIC type that I fell in love with... and I have no idea why...

OMG! I have no idea why, but that SPECIFIC JAR of peanut butter is AMAZING! It has a unique taste... not necesserally good or bad... but addicting!

Well, I don't know about all THAT, (especially in the kind I gorge upon, see above post) but I don't care, it's delicious and when I crave it I can't get enough! :p

Yeah I haven't seen it in a while either. I think the last time I got it was last year, or maybe 2 years ago, I know I had one though cause I remember dropping it on the floor and breaking it open in my old place which we were only in for a year :P so it had to be last year or the year before.
But that's my favorite kind. Its always so soft and creamy.

My husband is allergic to peanuts so we buy peabutter. It has absolutely no nuts of any kind in it but it looks and tastes exactly like peanut butter.
It also has less calories and fat.

I know that if you crave something it often means you are lacking something.
I looked it up and actually found these
It actually talks about a peanut butter diet in some of the links
how to stop peanut butter cravings - Yahoo! Search Results (http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=how+to+stop+peanut+butter+cravings&b=&fr=ie8)

You mentioned heating in the microwave till it's soft and gooey. Have you ever made peanut butter soup? It's also called West African Groundnut Chop. The first time I had it, a West African made it. I could not stop eating it! I was just thinking that you could lower the calories and still gorge yourself on something really, really good, warm and gooey.

Does peanut butter have sugar in it? That would explain my problem as I am hypoglycemic.

Yes, peanutbutter does have sugar in it. Just look at the label.
Remember that too much peanutbutter will clog your arteries ending in heart disease later in life.

I know you're a health expert and all... but isn't it unhealthy to deprive your taste buds or something by only eating "healthy" foods? I would think it is... my body just won't put up with it, and it's too delicious as-is!

As a health expert, yes, I am a Registered Nurse. Now, it's not unhealthy to eat peanut butter, but just like everything else... moderation is the key.
No, it's not unhealthy to deprive your tastebuds by eating only healthy foods. What is going to happen to your tastebuds if you eat only healthy foods? Are they going to retaliate and make you sick? LOL (just kidding there).

You can buy organic peanut butter that has no sugar or preservatives... Also, if you have kids... it's fun to make your own.

Okay, I see you saw my point, as it was just a joke...
It's still delicious, even in moderation. Try it sometime! ;)

Sorry, I can't stand peanutbutter.;) But I do know what it does to your arteries if eaten in excess.
