I was in a car accident and it involved two other cars I was struck from behind and the car that struck me was hit by another car its turns out the third car was at fault but is it true because I only have liability that my car won't get fixed even if it wasn't my fault and it turns out the guy who caused the accident has the same insurance I have can that be why

They have to fix your car through his insurance policy since they determined it was his fault. Liability means that your insurance policy will not fix your car whether it was your fault or not.

No, if it was your fault, then your car would not get fixed by your insurance company.

But their liablity pays for your car to be fixed by the person who caused the wreck.

Perhaps both cars behind you were partly at fault.

I agree with the posts before me and I'll add this...

Since you were the 1st car and they are saying either the 3rd car was fully at fault or both the 2nd and 3rd were each partially at fault, you have to wait until it gets sorted out before having your car repaired.

Since you only have Liability, you're not in a position to have your policy cover the repairs for now while the company is seeking the other companies for repayment. This puts you in an awful position of having to wait it out.
