Hi, I am having a real problem with my garbage disposal. The disposal is working but the water has started backing up in the back. The motor runs and is not jammed and I don't know what to do to fix it. Can anyone help me??

You've probably got a clog in your trap. Take the "U" shaped piece apart and you'll probably find it packed. Potato skins and egg shells are 2 of the top cloggers of traps. Their thin pieces work right past the blades of the disposer and clog in the trap.
