Met a guy and got married in one month. He changed his mind and left three months later. Got a new guy and have been with him for five years. We've had two children since I've been seperted from my husband. We would like to get married but I live in a different state than my husband, and don't know his whereabouts. How can I get a divorce from this man?

Married a guy and he left the marriage after three months. That was six years ago. I have a fiancé that I have been with for five years and we have two children together. We would like to get married but I need to get divorced first. I have moved to a different state and do not know the whereabouts of my husband. How can divorce this man?

You do not need to post again in an alternate forum.
Someone will get to your question when they are available.
Just be a bit patient.

Unfortunately, I don't believe you are going to have the 'quick' fix that you are seeking.

There is no quick fix. You are legally married and need to get legally divorced in order to remarry.

An Attorney has resources to help you find your "ex." If that fails, the Court can order publication in a newspaper, a notice to your "ex" that you are proceeding with a divorce.

There is nothing quick about this whether you can or cannot locate him.

Why after all this time are you looking for a "quick fix?"

My fiancé and I would like to get married, we've waited long enough, putting it off because we couldn't afford to get married but we are looking to buy our first home together in the next six months and would like to move in our first home as husband and wife.

Then I'm very confused by your other thread - do you expect to be able to get a mortgage?

On the other hand, that's a stupid question on my part because you obviously do think you can get a mortgage. I'm not so sure. I think you have to clear up the Judgment(s) first.

I've already found the house and the my real estate agent has made an offer to the owner for us already. Were just waiting to see if the offer is good. The house willl be in my mothers name until I can get my school loan in order (reguarding other post).

listen i'm 10 but i know what ur going through. just wait a while. tell him that u want to see him.then if he says no for any reason say if you can't see him then you're through. ok,if he says yes then see how nice he treats u, if bad then break up,if good then make him want to break up with u.if u want ur kids to be happy then keep them but let him take care of them, too.

You are 10 and have absolutely no idea what she is going through. Ten year olds should be watching Hannah Montana and playing with toys, not giving relationship advice.

Or maybe spending more time in school learning whole words...

Why is a 10 year old on the adult board and what is a 10 year old talking about in this instance?
