What sort of lighter case? What material is it made of? Is it fabric or metal or wood?

Well you can bead on fabric by sewing the beads on, I would glue them as well just to keep them from slipping. The only way I can think of to bead a metal lighter case would be to use metal wire to thread the beads and wire wrap the case using solder to hold the wire into place. Though if you are using a glass or plastic bead it is going to have a higher potential to break because you will be using it a lot. Try using metal beads on the metal one so that is lasts as long as the case.
