I have a really cute lab cross pup. He is 5 months and can be very happy and playful and then can just get vicious. I got him when he was 2 months. And he was so playful. He is so spoilt and when he don't get his owen way he starts barking and growling. If I try to give him a tap on the nose he just get's worse and starts jumping up and biting me. But he is great with other people it is just me, my mum , dad ,brother and sister he gets vicious to because we live with him. I love him with all my heart and I couldn't give him away for anything in the whole world I really really love him he is like a baby. But he gets very vicious and then a half an hour later he'd come and start licking you and stuff. Is there any way we can get the vicious side out of him???

You must be consistently firm without getting angry. My dog did this and we were told to stop playing and ignore her.

It's also part of being a puppy.

He is not vicious, he is a puppy andthat is how he behaves because he needs a basic obedience class.

My dog did this at first, I was sick of him jumping up and playing at my feet, he was trying to prove he was the dominant one, if I wouldn't give in to his commands he just wouldn't leave me alone, a dog trainer told me to just stand up with your back to the dog and totally ignore him, he will eventually sit down, after a few attempts at this it did work, another way is to put him in another room for a few minutes, its like going in the naughty corner. Hope this helps
