The newer motorola phones, you have to select the USB mode. I believe you want it to be something like "Connection"/ "data connection" when using mobile phone tools. On my phone, I have options of "USB printing" and "Memory card". In the memory card mode, it will mount as a USB mass storage device.

I heard about that but my phone does not support a memory card

I looked at the manual for the phone. Nothing fancy.

The USB cord for motorola is not a standard USB cord. It has a couple of resistors inside. This usually affects how fast it can charge through a mini-usb port.

Trash Mobile Phone Tools. It doesn't work. It's clumsy and just messes up your computer. No wonder your having trouble.

Use SyncCell Software Syncs Outlook Contacts & Calendar to RAZR with One Click (http://www.Synccell.com)
