-4x > 1/11
What is the solution set?
{x/x _ _}
Type an inequality symbol and a fraction.

I have came up with two answers... not sure which is correct. X < -4/11 or x < -1/44

Thanks,
Cooper

-4x \gt \frac {1}{11}

divide both sides by -4 (or multiply both sides by -1/4). Note that this will change the sense of the inequality.

x \, \lt \, \left( \frac {1}{11} \right) \, \times\, \left (-\frac 14 \right) = - \frac {1}{44}
