My bathroom faucets are leaking and in general bad shape. I would like to replace them
I am a tenant in a private house. My landlord gives me reasonable rent, so it's up to me
To fix things. Can you give me a ballpark figure for the cost of installation? I check with
Home Depot and the faucets run from $130 up... maybe I can find another brand and it
Would cost less. Sometimes people give seniors breaks, but since I don't own the house,
I'm not sure I'd qualify.

Have you tried replacing the insides first instead of replacing the entire unit? YOu may just need to replace the faucet cartrides (in some unites) or a washer needs replaced. No sense spending that kind of money if all the faucet needs is a 50 cent replacement part. If you are renting the house, I really don't think you should be forking out that kind of money for new faucets.

If you can post a picture or give us a brand we can probably help fix the old one for about $10

I agree with Ballengerb1. Post a picture/make and model if posible.

There are a lot of faucets that cost less than $130.
