I have a coleman 7600 series presidential furnace with central air added on. I came home today and the condenser coil in the furnace was full of ice, and no air was coming from vents because of that. I tried shutting everything down but now the blower motor on the furnace won't shut off. I turned it to off on the thermostat and it still stays on. I had to use the main on off switch on the furnace to get the fan shut off. As of this morning the central air was working normally and the fan was shuttting off like it should have when the house reached the temp the thermostat was set at. Any insight anyone might have about this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It is always possible a relay for the blower stuck shut but this is a intermittent problem so you will have to wait till it stops working again to see what is causing the problem.

Thanks for the info, I let the condenser coil for the ac defrost and it did go off on its own. And now it is working normal again. I will have to get the problem of the condenser icing up checked, thank you

I would get that looked into pronto. Icing up is not a good sign.
