Own a eagle 6.75hp lawnmower engine on a craftsman push engine starts but only stays running when you slightly push in the primmer bulb, checked for hole but did not see anything, what am I missing?

Since the carb vents through the bulb; I would say you are compensating for a carb with a dirty main jet.
