I hope somebody can help me here. I did a search and found similar topic although the period was only a couple of days late.

My period is over 5 weeks late. One week before I was to start my period I started having increased odorless white discharge for a couple of days and the day after I was supposed to start I had orange brownish discharge (definitely no blood). I went to the Doctor ( I go to planned parenthood because I have no money... ) and she did a pelvic exam, pap smear, pregnancy test, STD tests, the whole nine yards. The test results were are all negative so supposedly everything is great. I asked her about the discharge and all she would tell me was that it was definitely not my period o.O

I have been having the orange/brown discharge on off for the last almost 4 weeks and have been doing pregnancy tests twice a week. I am on no birth control, I stopped taking the pill 9 months ago. I am having cramps like I am about to start my period, I feel like I am about to start my period in general but since 5 weeks, nothing. I was nauseous for a couple of days (threw up one morning). I don't know what's going on and I can't get an appointment for the doctor until 2 weeks out. The pregnancy tests all come back negative (planned parenthood suggested to go to my physician and do a blood test but I can't afford that). I am running out of time here in case I really am pregnant. I'm just starting to get freaked out lol.

If anybody could provide some ideas or suggestions of what I could do, that would be great! :)

Thanks for reading!

I forgot to mention that my weight keeps changing too. I supposedly put on 10 pounds in a couple of days and then lost 13 pounds in the week after O.o now it keeps fluctuating between 2 to 3 pounds, so relatively stable again ( for now lol)

Something is going on with you. Did they run a cbc. You need to get a complete exam and bloodwork to determine wjhat is causing the weight loss and the discharge.

I am not sure if they did a cbc. I doubt it though. They took several vials of blood but I know that they where for STD testing etc. It is free for me so I don't expect "the best service".

I just received a letter from them that my pap smear appears to be normal but it did not have enough endocervical cells for evaluation. Seems like I will have to go back in 6-12 weeks anyway.

I really need to know if I could be pregnant though. The tests come back negative and if I were to be pregnant, I would have to know asap as I am not able to keep it.

Does anybody know how common it is to get a negative result even if you're pregnant (after the first 2 weeks of course plus I go to the clinic for tests, no home tests)

You should be concerned for your overall health. You should get blood test for pregnancy. Being 5 weeks late it should show hormone level that of a pregnant. Woman if you are. I am more concerned with possible infection (non std) cancer etc. you need to go to a regular physician.

See a regular doctor.

Just to throw it out there, you COULD be pregnant. Some women do not produce enough HGC hormone to turn up on a pregnancy test. Its very rare but it does happen.

You definitely need to see a regular doctor so that he can cover ALL The basis.
