No its not homework its for this program at my school and we have to debate about it and stuff and I'm just trying to be more open minded about this topic. I know I'm commenting in the wrong place I have no idea how to use this site.

No they should not influence us. We should influence them. Leaders and repersentives that is, as for parents your S.O.L. on that.

We are influenced from the time we are born .

When we are growing up everybody and everything is an influence, that sometimes we don't understand, at that point we rely on our parents to explain many things.
As we get older and go to school we will have learned all the basics of our young lives and be ready to absorb many more things that we will be taught whilst at school, at that point many influences from other pupils will interact, perhaps causing confusion. Our brain will not have develop enough to translate all the information that is being fed into it, again the parents will answer many questions at that stage in our lives that we do not understand.

As the years slip by we develop our own personality, we can decide having learned many facts, listened to many stories and opinions from various sources over the years , what we agree with or not.

Experiences that we may have been through will be a factor, as will the kind of parents we were given.

Now in teenage years other things will influence you, girlfriends, boyfriends, what clubs you join your circle of friends... everything,by this time you should have a good moral standing of right and wrong which should you have to make decisions the knowledge you now hold as a young adult will be there to draw on.

Parents will influence you, until you are old enough to make the right decisions for yourself, anything political should not influence you one way or another.

You now have your own personality, which is quite capable of making further decisions in life.

Throughout our junior years we are told many things, some we absorb others we won't
