Hello,
I have a really bad situation.
I am foreign student , and worked in states during summer 2008 and there was about $1640
TAX withhelp from my paychecks.

Then I registered with a local company and they were dealing with my taxes and there were some issues about amount and dates.
I only got $700 - which was questionable. So I contacted to other company and they gave me the info "in wich on my name was received $1500+some social packege($300) "

So the situation is that I got less then half of the amount plus on my name somebody broke the Law. The Law problem is very important concerning how I deal with my background(never violated any law)

So the main question what whould you advise? And how can I check how much tax was retrieved on my name from IRS. Whom should I refer to get help.
Thank you very much for any advice

p.s. there also many other my friends and people I know are in the same situation, they don't know it yet but soon they will.

You need to get advice from a tax attorney. Many will talk over the phone and give general advice.
