Hello!
I've had a white pus looking bump on my vaginal area like a months ago. I don't have one at the moment (it comes back after a few months from time to time). It doesn't itch, or burn when I pee. It's just uncomfortable to touch. I don't bother it when it is there. I just take a nice warm bath to heal it and I don't have sex with my boyfriend. I went and made an appointment for an std test and my test came back negative. So I am kind of confused. Because you just don't get an outbreak for nothing. I don't have insurance so I can't go to the hospital (doctor). I was just wondering if this is normal to get? For men and women? My sister in law told me that it may just be a pimple from being to lubricated or sweat. I don't know though.

I wonder if its just a skin tag, from sweating or skin rubbing together.

A skin tag is absolutely nothing to worry about.
Here's a link which explains it properly

Here's the part you need to read.

Do you shave in the area or tweeze, it sounds like you are getting an infected ingrown hair.

Yes that's a possibility as well seeing as its white in colour.

Vaginal Skin Tags, Vaginal Area Skin Growths (http://www.skintaghelp.com/vaginal-skin-tags.html)
A skin tag will not come and go on it's own and it often doesn't look like 'pus'. It is an overactive area of skin growth and it looks and feels like skin.

The only areas that I shave it my bikini line. I don't tweeze at all. I'm too chicken to pull hair from down there. When my hair does grow, I usually clip it with my "pubic scissors". Not short either. Just to trim it down a little

Is that the area where you find the bump?
When you were tested to you ask about the possibilities with your doctor then?
If you are uncomfortable, you can visit your doctor to determine the cause.

Skin tags can actually fall off though on their own sometimes, I've known that to happen, that's why I mentioned it and thought maybe another grew in its place.
OK well its not that then, probably best to ask your doctor as suggested.

So what your saying is a skin tag looks like skin? It's not filled with pus like liquid?

I don't have a bump at the moment. I did last month. It was a small white pus like bump. Didn't itch or sting at all. On the out of part of my vagina, near the opening.

A skin tag would not be filled with pus, that would lead me to think infection. Skin tags most often are the color of skin, or brown or redder than your natural color.

I would check with your doctor.
There maybe something that she did not test for.
Without seeing the bump, it is difficult to determine.
A doctor is your best bet.

Nope. That's not what it is then. I told the lady at the clinic what I found on my vaginal area and she wrote it down, but she never told me what it could be. And I don't have health insurance to go to the doctors.

This sounds like the same thing I told another girl asking about this.
It could be a Gartner Cyst. (a blockage in the gartner duct)
This is common, I get it all the time, and though a pain, doesn't usually cause an issue unless it grows larger than a grape, then the doctors may need to take care of it.
Usually it goes away on its own after a week or 2.

Good luck hon.
When in doubt see your doctor :)

Yea when I get bumps they usually go away within a week or 2 also. They go away and come back after a few months

Hon, from all your posts together I would strongly suggest you see a doctor, as this could be any number of things that need attention OK?

Small painless bumps on the vulva may be related to a yeast infection especially if you have been cleared by a doctor, but it is always best to be seen by your ob/gyn with issues "down there"
