My husband wants to replace the old am fm radio but does not have a wiring diagram. Can anyone help? I don't want him to blow the radio he bought. Thanks

Hi! cleanboss89, and welcome to AMHD :)
Wiring diagrams are hard to come by. (Their treated like gold.)
The attached image (wiring color code) is for "full sized chevy p/u 92-94, but no radio code :(
The closest radio code I could come by, was a 2004 Silverado, I'd probably compare, but wouldn't use... You know how us guys can be
Its color code is:
Left Front Speaker(+) TAN ; Size: Left Front Speaker(-) GRAY ; Size: Right Front Speaker(+) L GREEN ; Size: Right Front Speaker(-) D GREEN ; Size: Left Rear Speaker(+) BROWN ; Size: Left Rear Speaker(-) YELLOW ; Size: Right Rear Speaker(+) BLUE ; Size: Right Rear Speaker(-) LT BLUE
Yellow -ignition
Orange-Constant +12 volts
Black - ground
My best suggestion is to check the stereo mfg. web site it may contain the answers you seek.
Look for wiring/installation guides.

I have a 1994 chevy silverado 1500. My problem is I had dash lights and they went out.So I turned my parking and headlight switch on then off then they came back on but that don't work no more. Called the dealer they said replace headlight and dimmer switch . I did that and still don't work. Now when I turn on parking and headlights my gas, temp, oil gauges go to zero but if I stroll down dimmer switch wheel to dim
Dash lights if they worked my gauges come back up where there suppose to but I drive day and night with no dash lights. Can you pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee help me with some advice.

. Test all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

. Check/replace the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.
. Check/replace the combination light switch, if you haven't already.

The diagrams are in the chilton shop manual. Can get a parts store.
