What state do you live in?
Are you capable of taking care of yourself with somewhere to live and things like that?
What do your parents say?

As near as I can tell, the only emancipation that OK provides is the ability for minors to enter into contracts. The statute, found here:
State (http://www.bostoncoop.net/lcd/emancipation/oklahoma.html)
Does not emanicpate you from your parents.

So what I would suggest is to go to your local Family serv ices agency and discuss this with them.

Clearly, though, you would need to show that you can care for yourself and your child without any assistance from parents, the state or third parties. Getting emancipated is extremely hard.

Agreed, I could not find it either.
What is your plan ? Do you have a job that pays enough for you to live on your own ( not live in someone else's home)

As long as you have graduated from high school, have employment sufficient to financially support yourself AND have a place to live (your own place, not living with someone), I don't see a problem getting emancipated.

On the other hand - if your parents don't want reponsibility for you they can also apply to have you emancipated so they no longer have that responsibility. This could make you a ward of the Court but you would be emancipated.
